LAB

AUFLADEN laboratory area

The AUFLADEN Lab is an experimental space for learning and teaching digital technologies and methods in construction planning. In the form of research-based learning, students develop solutions for digital use cases together with subject matter experts: workflows for model creation, model navigation, model visualization, quantity calculation, rule-based checks, plan preparation, collision testing, use of model information, life cycle assessment and much more. The results are collected, published and presented in specialist articles, at conferences and also here in the laboratory area of AUFLADEN.

Immersively experience results from the LAB

We publish the results of our lab in various ways. Due to the increasing relevance and importance of current topics and technologies, the charging LAB provides the opportunity to immersively experience various subject areas and thus provides access to research results in a way that has not been experienced before.

In the fictional 3D environment below the text, the user finds himself on the topic, for example Artificial intelligence (AI) in the design process again and can go through various stages in the area of AI by using virtual reality and get to know the associated opportunities in an impressive and playful way, starting with the idea in mind to the implementation of a construction project.
