General information on the legal basis of data processing on this website

If you have consented to data processing, we process your personal data on the basis of Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR or Article 9 (2) (a) GDPR, provided that special categories of data are processed in accordance with Article 9 (1) GDPR. In the event of express consent to the transfer of personal data to third countries, data processing is also carried out on the basis of Article 49 (1) (a) GDPR. If you have consented to the storage of cookies or access to information on your device (e.g. via device fingerprinting), data processing is also carried out on the basis of Section 25 (1) TTDSG. The consent can be withdrawn at any time. If your data is necessary to fulfill the contract or to carry out contractual measures, we process your data on the basis of Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Furthermore, we process your data insofar as this is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR. Data processing may also be carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. fDSGVO. Information on the relevant legal bases in each individual case is provided in the following paragraphs of this data protection declaration.

Note on data transfer to the USA and other third countries

Among other things, we use tools from companies based in the USA or other third countries that are not secure under data protection law. If these tools are active, your personal data can be transferred to and processed in these third countries. We would like to point out that no level of data protection comparable with the EU can be guaranteed in these countries. For example, US companies are required to disclose personal data to security authorities without you, as the person concerned, being able to take legal action against this. It cannot therefore be ruled out that US authorities (e.g. secret services) may process, evaluate and permanently store your data located on US servers for monitoring purposes. We have no influence on these processing activities.

Withdrawal of your consent to data processing

Many data processing processes are only possible with your express consent. You can withdraw consent that you have already given at any time. The legality of the data processing carried out up to the time of revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right to object to data collection in special cases and counterdirect advertising (Art. 21 GDPR)

IF DATA PROCESSING IS CARRIED OUT ON THE BASIS OF ART. 6 PARA. 1 LIT. E OR F DSGVO, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA AT ANY TIME FOR REASONS ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING BASED ON THESE PROVISIONS. THE RESPECTIVE LEGAL BASIS ON WHICH PROCESSING IS BASED CAN BE FOUND IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU FILE AN OBJECTION, WE WILL NO LONGER PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA CONCERNED, UNLESS WE CAN HAVE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE REASONS FOR THE PROCESSING EVIDENCE THAT OUTWEIGH YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS OR THAT THE PROCESSING SERVES TO ASSERT, EXERCISE OR DEFEND LEGAL CLAIMS (OBJECTION UNDER ARTICLE 21 (1) GDPR).

IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF RELEVANT PERSONAL DATA FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUCH ADVERTISING; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING, INSOFAR AS IT IS ASSOCIATED WITH SUCH DIRECT MARKETING. IF YOU OBJECT, YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL THEN NO LONGER BE USED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES (OBJECTION IN ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE 21 (2) GDPR).

Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority

In the event of violations of the GDPR, the person concerned has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement. The right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to other administrative or judicial remedies.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to yourself or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of data to another person responsible, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.

Information, deletion and correction

Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right to receive information free of charge about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of data processing and, if applicable, a right to correct or delete this data. You can contact us at any time about this and if you have any further questions on the subject of personal data.

Right to restrict processing

You have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted. To do so, you can contact us at any time. The right to restrict processing exists in the following cases:

If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the audit, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted.
If the processing of your personal data was/happens unlawfully, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.

If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to exercise, defend or assert legal claims, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted instead of deletion.
If you have filed an objection in accordance with Article 21 (1) GDPR, a balance must be made between your interests and ours. As long as it is not yet clear whose interests prevail, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted.

If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data — apart from storage — may only be processed with your consent or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims or to protect the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.

SSL or TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser's address line changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock icon in your browser line.

If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data that you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

4. Data collection on this website

cookies

Our websites use so-called “cookies.” Cookies are small data packets and do not cause any damage to your device. They are stored on your device either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies). Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself or until they are automatically deleted by your web browser.

In some cases, cookies from third-party companies may also be stored on your device when you enter our site (third-party cookies). These enable us or you to use certain services provided by the third-party company (e.g. cookies to process payment services).

Cookies have various functions. Numerous cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies are used to evaluate user behavior or display advertising. Cookies that are necessary to carry out the electronic communication process, to provide certain functions you have requested (e.g. for the shopping cart function) or to optimize the website (e.g. cookies to measure the web audience) (necessary cookies) are stored on the basis of Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR, unless another legal basis is provided. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing necessary cookies for technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. If consent to the storage of cookies and comparable recognition technologies has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO and § 25 para. 1TTDSG); consent can be withdrawn at any time.

You can set your browser so that you are informed when cookies are set and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when you close the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.

If cookies are used by third-party companies or for analysis purposes, we will inform you separately as part of this privacy policy and, if necessary, request consent.

Request by e-mail, telephone or fax

If you contact us by email, telephone or fax, your request, including all resulting personal data (name, request), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request. We will not share this data without your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR, provided that your request is related to the fulfilment of a contract or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO) or on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) if this has been requested; consent can be withdrawn at any time.

The data you send us via contact requests will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it or the purpose for storing the data ceases to apply (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions — in particular statutory retention periods — remain unaffected.

5. Plug-ins and tools

Memberstack

In our online offering, we use the Memberstack member administration. This is a service provided by Memberstack LLC, 104Sagamore Williamsburg, VA, 23188, USA.

We use Memberstack to make it technically possible to log in to our protected member area. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. If a corresponding consent has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO; consent can be withdrawn at any time. Memberstack processes the following data from you: email, address and registration date.

We only store your profile data in our login/member area until you delete your profile with us yourself. In principle, Memberstack does not share collected data with third parties. We have concluded an order processing contract with Memberstack for the above purposes, in which we oblige Memberstack to protect our customers' data and not to pass it on to third parties.

Data transmission to the USA is based on the new standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. Memberstack's privacy policy can be found at:

instagram

Use of Instagram social pluginsOur website uses so-called social plugins (“plugins”) from Instagram, which is operated by Instagram LLC., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA (“Instagram”). The plugins are marked with an Instagram logo, for example in the form of an “Instagram camera.” An overview of the Instagram plugins and their appearance can be found here: http://blog.instagram.com/post/36222022872/introducing-instagram-badges

When you visit a page on our website that contains such a plugin, your browser creates a direct connection to the Instagram servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly from Instagram to your browser and integrated into the page. Through this integration, Instagram receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have an Instagram profile or are not currently logged in to Instagram. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted from your browser directly to an Instagram server in the USA and stored there.

If you are logged in to Instagram, Instagram can immediately associate your visit to our website with your Instagram account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by pressing the “Instagram” button, this information is also sent directly to an Instagram server and stored there. The information is also published on your Instagram account and displayed to your contacts there.

The purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Instagram as well as your related rights and settings options to protect your privacy can be found in Instagram's privacy policy: https://help.instagram.com/155833707900388/

If you do not want Instagram to directly associate the data collected via our website with your Instagram account, you must log out of Instagram before visiting our website. You can also completely prevent Instagram plugins from loading with add-ons for your browser, e.g. with the “NoScript” script blocker (http://noscript.net/).
