The symposium on the AUFLADEN project

The symposium “Teaching concepts for digital technologies and methods in construction” was part of the 10th Oldenburg BIM Day, the supraregional conference on digitization in construction, which took place on January 31 and February 1 with over 400 guests. The symposium brought together interested parties from business, industry and universities who discussed innovative, didactic teaching and continuing education formats for teaching digital planning. The project results from the”Training and continuing education laboratory for digital design and construction”, In short: recharge make a valuable and illustrative contribution. The project, funded by the Innovation in Higher Education Foundation, is led by Prof. Dr. Gregor Grunwald and Prof. Dr. Sebastian Hollermann.

The program

The symposium program was divided into three thematic blocks and focused on teaching and research. In the third and final block, people from practice spoke and reflected on training and continuing education needs.

The students were also able to present project results from their collaboration in the laden LAB and demonstrated, for example, how they develop, edit, and set music to teaching modules and thus expand the training offer on the website www.wissen-laden.

With greetings from Oldenburg Mayor Christine Wolff, an opening keynote by Prof. Rasso Steinmann and the final panel discussion with the participation of Falko Mohrs, Minister of Science and Culture of Lower Saxony, Prof. Dr. Hero Weber, Vice President for Studies and Teaching Jade University, Frank Schreiber, Speaker of the Board Johann Bunte and Markus Gerke, Head of the Institute of Geodesy and Photogrammetry, Technical University of Braunschweig, offered the symposium, embedded in the Oldenburger BimTag and the 3D Days, a suitable setting and attractive accompanying program.
